About Me
I am a qualified teacher and assessor of specific learning difficulties who has worked in education for over twenty years. I have worked in both the state and independent sector, and currently work in the independent sector as a SENCo and specialist teacher supporting students with a range of dyslexic, dyscalculic and other needs. I also provide specialist support to the state sector, assessing pupils and training teachers and support staff.

As part of my assessment practice I work with students of all ages, covering primary, secondary and sixth form education. I am passionate that all students should have an opportunity to learn and make progress in line with their ability, and not in line with their difficulty. I do not believe that any student should be disadvantaged by a learning difficulty or have progress restricted due to an overcomable barrier. All students can and should make progress, and I will provide the assessment and assessment report that will enable this to happen.
